A meeting was held with members of the Çanakkale Internet and Social Media Press Association at the Dardanos Campus.

The meeting took place in the Sunset Meeting Hall of the Dardanos Campus and was attended by ÇOMÜ Rector Prof. Dr. R. Cüneyt Erenoğlu, Vice-Rector Prof. Dr. Dinçay Köksal, Chairman of the Çanakkale Internet and Social Media Press Association Gökhan Kökçak, along with Association Board Members Nida Esin Çelik, Taner Arçukoğlu, Özer Şut, Cenk İşver, Mustafa Yıldız, Coordinator of the ÇOMÜ Scientific Research Projects Coordination Unit Assoc. Prof. Dr. Sercan Karav, University-Public-Industry-Civil Society Collaboration Coordinator Lecturer Dr. Kadir Yılmaz, and Deputy Director of the Science and Technology Application and Research Center Lecturer Dr. Savaş Gürdal.

In his remarks, Rector Erenoğlu emphasized the importance of internet media, stating, “Our university is a well-established institution with significant potential in research and development. Since taking office, we have aimed to bring our university to our city and our city to our university through the projects we have developed and will develop. Following our motto 'Together Further,' we frequently meet with all public, industrial, and civil society organizations in our city to exchange ideas. In this context, our press members hold a very important place in the field of promotion. Especially today, the press plays an active role on the internet through new media. I believe we will achieve great things together.”

The meeting concluded with discussions on the promotion of ongoing and upcoming projects at ÇOMÜ.
